During the March Break, the U14A team made the more than nine hour journey to Timmins, Ontario to compete in the 2016 A Provincial Championship.

Our Dorchester girls played six round-robin games against teams including the City of Ottawa, West Ottawa, Richmond Hill, Sault Ste. Marie, Cambridge and Whitby.  The team finished the round-robin placing first overall with a 4-1-1 record, which earned them an automatic bye into the finals Sunday afternoon.  The City of Ottawa and Richmond Hill battled it out Sunday morning to decide who would play against Dorchester in the final, with Richmond Hill coming out on top.

After an intense battle, it came down to the last seconds of play when Dorchester scored a goal with 53 seconds left in the game to go ahead 4-3 and ultimately win the game.

The Dorchester Ringette Association is proud to share our enthusiasm and congratulations to our U14A team  – your hard work and perseverance has helped put Dorchester and our small but mighty Association on the map!
